Mitchell's Scaffolding is one of the North West's leading providers of bespoke scaffolding and access solutions, delivering our professional and comprehensive suite of services to clients in the industrial, commercial, municipal, public and private sectors all over the UK.

Our journey to where we are today began many years ago when Stuart Mitchell, our Managing Director, entered the scaffolding industry at just 14 years old. He worked for several different scaffolding companies in the region, learning everything about the trade in the process. Once this knowledge and experience was in place, Stuart set out on his own as a self-described 'one man band'. Mitchell's Scaffolding Ltd was born.

Stuart's strong dedication to carrying out work of the highest quality saw his new company's reputation grow quickly. As the contracts kept flooding in, he hired carefully-chosen staff members and began the expansion of Mitchell's Scaffolding that continues to this day.

In 2011, Stuart's talent and hard work were recognised and rewarded when he fought off many strong competitors to win the University of Central Lancashire’s coveted Young Business Person of the Year Award. Just two years later, Stuart completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Construction, proving that he could offer his clients the very best knowledge in the scaffolding trade.

Today, Stuart is responsible for directing and overseeing all of the work carried out by both his scaffolding and administrative teams, as well as managing crucial aspects of the business such as organising training and maintaining Health and Safety procedures and policies. He retains the original passion for the physical side of scaffolding that first inspired him as a young boy and so he can often be found working on construction sites alongside his employees.

Year on year, the Mitchell's Scaffolding client base has grown and the company has developed correspondingly to cater to these new clients. In addition to continuously acquiring brand new components which are used to create state-of-the-art scaffolding solutions and access structures, Mitchell's Scaffolding has steadily increased its fleet of vehicles, constantly improving the company's ability and efficiency.
