Pride of Manchester 2015

This year’s 2015 Manchester Pride parade saw Mitchell’s carrying the Main Sponsor of the event through the streets of Manchester. 

Driver John Scrivens and family arrived early on Saturday morning with the wagon with a small built in stage positioned at the back of the drivers cab all hand railed up ready for team Thomas Cook and their precious cargo.

The Thomas cook team took charge and with the help of John and Family the decoration of the wagon got underway. With the teams of walkers and passengers gathered together the sound system was safely installed below the stage area ready for the band to arrive.

Scooch arrived and with the team mounted the parade got underway.

Thousands of people lined the streets to cheer on the parade the sun shone as the convoy of wagons slowly made it through Manchester’s City center.

Sir Ian McKellen lead Parade with Mitchell’s Thomas Cook and Scooch not far behind . The Mitchell's wagon was resplendent with a host of yellow balloons.

The onlookers cheered singing along with Schooch and the team a great day was had by all.
